FAQ

Questions we get asked most

If your question isn't here, ask it in the compatibility check form and we'll answer it directly.

No. You keep the number your customers already have. We set up call forwarding so that calls you don't answer are handled by XMT instead of going to voicemail.

It's a quick, no-payment check of your number, phone type and provider to confirm forwarding can be configured properly. It's required before purchase or setup so nobody pays for something that won't work with their phone.

Yes. Your phone rings as normal. XMT only steps in when you can't answer, so you never lose the chance to take the call yourself.

The greeting and questions are built around your business, so callers hear something that sounds like your business — not a generic robot script. We test it with you before launch.

XMT is one plan: $199/month plus usage, including booking. There's no setup fee and a 14-day trial starting only once XMT is set up, tested and activated. Usage charges may still apply.

Call volumes differ a lot between businesses. Charging usage separately keeps the monthly plan low for quieter businesses rather than averaging everyone up.

Most businesses are live within a few days of the compatibility check, depending on how detailed your call flow and booking rules are.

No. We do the setup, build the call flow, test it and launch it with you. You just use the XMT app to see your leads, messages and bookings.

With XMT, callers can request a preferred date and time, and bookings appear in your app under Today, Upcoming and Past.

You receive the useful enquiry information — who called, what they need and their number — so you can decide who to ring back first.

Yes. Customer details are only used to run your reception and messaging, and are never sold. See our privacy policy for detail.

Yes. Plans are monthly. If you cancel, call forwarding is removed and your calls go back to behaving exactly as they did before.
